Make Your Move a Downsizing Success

Have you reached a stage in life, when you no longer need a large home and garden. You just need to decide which collective style suits you best, and make your move to retirement seamlessly. Will it be a sectional title development, or an apartment, or a retirement village where you can lock up and go?

Think Things Through, Before You Move

We don’t presume to tell you which option will be best for you. We want to help you make the right decision. One thing’s for sure though, your new home is probably going to be smaller. You may have to choose between the dining room furniture and the pool table, if you want to adjust to smaller space!

You’re in the Right Place if You Need Advice

We’d love to welcome you to one of our retirement villages on the KZN South Coast of South Africa, when you are ready to make your move. But only if we are both convinced this is the right thing for you. Either way, you will have to scale down your belongings to fit into your new home.

We’ll share ideas on how to downscale your clutter in our next few articles. This may be one of the most important decisions you make going forward. Get it right, and you should fit comfortably into your retirement cottage. And be able to enjoy your retirement, which is what this blog is all about.

Best wishes for your happy retirement from Hibiscus Retirement Villages. Yes, the time has come to make this move which both my husband and I have been shelving for many years.
What to keep and what to get rid of is a huge mystery – the kids aren’t interested in much of our old stuff at all.
I’ll be happy to receive further advice, when it’s available.
    Kind regards
