With a huge variety of social activities available to residents, HRV’s social scene is a vibrant one. You choose what you would like to do and when, all the village does is provide options with a wide range of different amenities and activities designed to suit everyone.
Chess clubs, art clubs, music groups, yoga classes, quilters, bridge players, golf players, tennis tournaments, bowling clubs, gardening projects and plays are regularly organized by committees within the villages. Many of the village clubs have built strong relationships with the town communities and actively participate in community projects.

Outdoor Activities
The South Coast is blessed to have mild weather all year round. To take full advantage of the endless sunshine, Hibiscus Retirement Villages offer a wide range of on-site outdoor facilities and activities to help you enjoy your days outside to their fullest.
Sporting enthusiasts may enjoy a game of bowls, tennis, swimming, cycling, walking, birdwatching and much more. With so many different outdoor attractions, you are sure to find one that suits you.
Our villages are also fortunate to be surrounded by a number of sports and recreation clubs, with some of SA’s most beautiful golf courses on our doorstep. A number of our residents are active participants in a wide range of clubs in our communities. For fishing enthusiasts, our coastline offers many great opportunities and the beaches on the south coast are amongst the best in the country. We also have lovely inland areas in close proximity, offering beautiful scenery, hiking trails and nature-watching.
The residents of each village are also encouraged to develop and maintain their gardens as they wish. Many keen gardeners get together to share their expertise and achievements. All the gardens are beautifully maintained and are a point of pride for the Hibiscus Retirement Villages.

Transport Services
The village busses provide transport to local shopping malls, hospitals and specialist clinics. Scheduled trips to local attractions and events are always eagerly anticipated and supported.
Pro-Active Security
Visitor monitoring, electrified perimeters, cctv cameras and a 24 hour manned gate at each village entrance are just a few of the security measures HRV has taken to provide residents with the safest home possible.
The highly trained, courteous security staff manning the gates and patrolling the estate ensure any potential intrusions are detected. At HRV we are 100% committed to prevent crime, not react to it.
In the unlikely event of any resident being in distress a member of the security team may be dispatched to inspect the resident’s premises. All units are fitted with a panic button to ensure help is never far away and always on hand when it is needed.
